Placements24 is seeking a proactive Logistics Dispatcher to oversee the movement of goods for our fully remote operations. You will schedule, route, and track shipments, and serve as the central contact for drivers and clients.

The role requires multitasking, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will use dispatch software and GPS tools to optimize routes and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Logistics Dispatcher or similar transportation coordinator.
• Proficiency with dispatch and fleet management software.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a remote setting and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch trucks and drivers for timely deliveries and pick-ups.
• Monitor driver performance and ensure adherence to schedules and routes.
• Utilize dispatch software and GPS tracking to optimize routes and manage fleet operations.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all dispatched shipments, driver logs, and delivery confirmations.
• Respond to urgent requests and adjust dispatch plans as needed to accommodate unforeseen circumstances.
