Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Director of Search Marketing to lead its PPC and SEO practice. You will oversee the PPC and SEO strategists, set channel strategy, approve audits, and own client results and reporting.

You will not build campaigns yourself; you will guide budget allocation as accounts scale, drive department delivery, and recruit the team, with the role centered on leadership and strategic direction in a fast-paced agency environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years across paid media and SEO.
• Agency experience carrying many accounts at once.
• Comfortable being the client-facing owner when accounts underperform.

Responsabilités

• Own channel strategy and budget allocation as accounts scale.
• Oversee PPC and SEO strategists, including reviews and development.
• Ensure honest reporting and GA4 accuracy in client work.
• Lead hiring and first-round interviews for the department.
