Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly capable Lead Project Manager to drive large-scale digital transformation initiatives in a fully remote setting. You will guide cross-functional teams across time zones, align programs with strategic objectives, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.

You will own the strategy, planning, execution and delivery of complex IT projects with budgets exceeding $1 million annually, leveraging Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) and modern collaboration tools.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of progressive experience in project management, with a focus on digital transformation and IT projects.
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is mandatory.
• Proven experience leading geographically dispersed teams in a fully remote setting.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Trello).

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategy for digital transformation projects, aligned with business goals and tech innovation.
• Lead and mentor project teams across time zones, fostering a remote collaboration culture.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure using robust PM frameworks.
• Oversee development and deployment of digital platforms and process automation tools.
• Conduct detailed risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management at all levels.
• Manage project budgets and resource allocation in a remote setting.
• Drive adoption of Agile and related methodologies to improve delivery.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to support transformation efforts.
