Placements24 is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to drive insights within renewable energy initiatives, working fully remotely. You will leverage large datasets to optimize energy generation, predict performance, and identify opportunities for sustainable power solutions.

You will collaborate with engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable strategies, communicating findings through visualizations and reports.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of professional data science experience focusing on ML and modeling.
• Proficiency in Python or R and data science libraries.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy ML models for energy production forecasting and anomaly detection.
• Analyze large weather, grid, and energy consumption datasets.
• Design experiments and A/B tests to assess model performance and business impact.
• Communicate findings with visualizations and reports to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decisions in renewable energy projects.
