HIREXE is seeking a Customer Solutions Engineer for a fully remote role based in South Africa, aligned to East Coast US hours. You will split time between guiding customers through integrations and collaborating with our development team to enhance the product experience.

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication, comfortable presenting to higher-ed professionals.
• Experience with LAMP stack web apps (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).
• Ownership mindset: make decisions and own outcomes.
• Growth orientation: eager to learn development aspects over time.
• Based in South Africa with availability for East Coast US hours (EST).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates system features and integrations to customers via calls.
• Guides customers through implementing integrations with third‑party systems.
• Acts as a knowledge resource for the customer service team on technical topics.
• Proactively engages with customers to resolve integration issues.
• Produces documentation and onboarding materials for integrations.
• Participates in trainings with administrators and campus IT staff.
