Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Corporate Events Catering Specialist to plan, coordinate, and flawlessly execute catering for corporate events nationwide, with potential support for Pretoria, Gauteng. The role demands extensive experience in corporate event catering, keen attention to detail, and exceptional client management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Hospitality/Event Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in event planning, catering coordination, or hospitality sales with a focus on corporate events.
• Experience in menu planning, proposal development, and budget management.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from inquiry to post-event follow-up.
• Develop customized catering proposals, menus, and event plans.
• Coordinate logistics with on-site teams, ensuring timely setup and service.
• Liaise with vendors, venues, and service providers for seamless execution.
• Conduct site visits or virtual meetings to finalize event details.
• Manage event budgets and track expenses to ensure profitability.
• Troubleshoot issues during planning or execution promptly.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in corporate event management.
• Maintain accurate event records and client information.
