Placements24 is seeking a Remote Catering Operations Lead to manage a nationwide network of culinary partners and ensure seamless delivery for virtual events and remote work programs. The role requires strong remote leadership, process optimization, and excellent communication across distributed teams.

Based in Midrand or remote, you will drive efficiency, oversee order processing, logistics, and partner relationships while maintaining top-tier service standards for clients nationwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations or senior role within catering/logistics.
• Experience managing remote or distributed teams.
• Ability to optimize processes and drive efficiency.
• Strong communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills.
• Data-driven with problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a nationwide network of catering partners to ensure quality and service standards.
• Develop and implement efficient workflows for order processing, menu selection and delivery logistics for remote clients.
• Monitor KPIs related to partner performance, client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges in the remote delivery chain.
• Collaborate with sales and client success to tailor catering solutions.
• Manage relationships with third-party delivery services and technology providers.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations across partners and processes.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance the remote catering experience.
• Create and maintain training materials for partners and internal teams.
• Lead virtual meetings and performance reviews with partners and stakeholders.
