Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Legal Advisor specializing in contract law to join a fully remote legal team. You will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements across SaaS, SLAs, partnerships, and vendor contracts, while guiding internal teams on contractual terms and risks from anywhere in South Africa.

The ideal candidate holds admission as an attorney with at least four years post‑qualification experience, demonstrates strong analytical and organizational skills,

Qualifications

Admitted Attorney with at least 4 years PQE focusing on contract law.
Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
Strong understanding of contract law and related legislation.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including SaaS, SLAs, partnerships, and vendor contracts.
Advise business teams on contractual terms, risks, and obligations.
Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws and company policies.
Manage the contract lifecycle from initiation to renewal.
