Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Contract Law Specialist to provide expert drafting, negotiation, and management of commercial contracts from a fully remote position.

You will advise cross‑functional teams on terms and risks, develop standard templates, manage the contract lifecycle, ensure compliance with South African contract law, and provide timely opinions. Qualifications

• Admitted in the High Court of South Africa or equivalent.
• 6+ years post-qualification experience in contract law.

Responsabilités

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts including service agreements, NDAs, supply and licensing agreements.
• Advise business teams on contractual terms, risks, and compliance obligations.
• Develop and maintain standard contract templates and playbooks.
• Manage contract lifecycle, ensuring adherence to terms and identifying potential issues.
• Conduct legal research related to contract law and provide timely opinions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with business objectives.
