Placements24 is seeking an experienced Legal Consultant specializing in Business Law for a remote, contract-based role in South Africa. You will advise on contract negotiation, corporate structuring, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution for a diverse client base, supporting strategic decision-making from any location within SA.

The ideal candidate will bring 6+ years in business/corporate law, strong contract law expertise, and a client-focused remote work approach, delivering guidance

Formación

• Admitted as an Attorney or Advocate of the High Court of South Africa.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in business or corporate law.
• Proven expertise in contract law, corporate governance, and commercial transactions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage client relationships remotely.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and client-focused approach.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic legal advice on business formation, governance, and operational matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, partnership agreements, and service level agreements.
• Advise on compliance with South African laws and regulations impacting businesses.
• Assist with corporate restructuring, mergers, and acquisitions.
• Manage and resolve legal disputes, including mediation and negotiation.
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis on complex legal issues.
• Develop and implement legal policies and procedures for client organizations.
• Offer guidance on intellectual property rights and employment law matters.
• Ensure efficient and effective legal support for business transactions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal developments and industry best practices.
