Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Construction Project Coordinator to support project teams across locations, including Paarl, Western Cape. In this fully remote role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support to project managers and site teams from home.

You will facilitate communication, manage project documentation, track progress, and ensure the efficient flow of information between all project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or Administrator, preferably in the construction sector.
• Strong understanding of construction project management processes and terminology.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Slack).
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive in a remote work setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in planning, executing, and closing out construction projects.
• Maintain and organize all project documentation, including contracts, drawings, permits, and reports.
• Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, and subcontractors through various virtual channels.
• Track project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables, and provide regular updates on project status.
• Coordinate virtual meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes.
• Support the procurement process and manage project-related correspondence.
