Placements24 is seeking a diligent and proactive Remote Construction Health and Safety Officer to uphold the highest safety standards across our construction projects. Operating remotely, you will design, implement, and monitor health and safety protocols from a distance, engaging with site teams virtually to foster a safety-first culture.

You will conduct remote risk assessments, lead virtual inspections, investigate incidents, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering online training

Qualifications

• Requires Occupational Health and Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, SAMTRAC).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive Health and Safety plans for construction projects.
• Conduct remote risk assessments and identify potential hazards on construction sites.
• Monitor site safety compliance through regular virtual inspections and reporting from site personnel.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant national and local health and safety legislation and regulations.
• Deliver safety training and awareness programs to project teams virtually.
