Placements24 is seeking a detailed Remote Construction Cost Estimator to join their team, supporting projects across regions from a home office. You will prepare detailed cost estimates, analyze bids, and maintain cost databases to support bidding and planning.

A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering and at least five years of estimating experience are required. Proficiency with CostX, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, and MS Excel, plus strong analytical and independent-working skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction cost estimating.
• Proficiency in estimating software CostX, PlanSwift, Bluebeam and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bids for construction projects.
• Analyze subcontractor bids and ensure pricing aligns with scope.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and material cost analysis.
• Collaborate remotely with project teams to clarify scope and requirements.
• Maintain an updated database of costs for materials, labor and equipment.
• Present and explain cost estimates to internal teams and clients.
