Placements24 is seeking a meticulous and analytical Remote Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This role focuses on cost estimation, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects, all managed remotely and across various locations.

The requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, 6+ years of QS experience, SACQSP membership desirable, and proficiency with WinQS/CCS and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field is required.
• 6+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in cost estimation and contract administration.
• SACQSP accreditation is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction projects from tender to completion.
• Analyze tender documents, drawings, and specs to determine scope and materials.
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Manage pricing and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor expenditures and track costs against the budget, reporting variances.
• Maintain compliant, detailed financial records and contractual obligations.
