Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Remote Construction Procurement Specialist to manage procurement of materials, equipment, and services for construction projects from a remote location. You will identify suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to keep projects on time and within budget, while upholding quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in SCM, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years procurement experience in construction preferred.
• Proven negotiation and supplier contract management skills.
• Strong procurement processes, logistics, and inventory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services, ensuring competitive pricing and quality.
• Develop and maintain relationships with a network of reliable suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to achieve the best value for the company.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, tenders, and requests for proposals (RFPs).
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of goods and services to project sites.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, manage inventory levels, and process invoices for payment.
