Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Community Development Officer to lead remote engagement initiatives designed to empower communities and foster sustainable development through digital platforms and virtual interactions.

You will design and implement strategies, identify community needs, and facilitate virtual projects across various regions, building strong online relationships and monitoring outcomes while collaborating with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in community development, project management, with a focus on digital engagement.
• Strong understanding of needs assessment and participatory development approaches.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills in a virtual context.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement remote community development strategies using digital tools.
• Facilitate online workshops, training sessions, and forums to foster engagement and knowledge sharing.
• Identify community needs through virtual research and stakeholder consultations.
• Build and maintain relationships with community members, partners online.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of remote initiatives and report lessons learned.
• Collaborate with internal teams to leverage technology for program delivery.
