Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a passionate Community Outreach Coordinator to advance our client's mission from a fully remote setup. You will design outreach strategies, engage diverse communities, and organize virtual events to expand impact and donor relations.

You will craft engaging content for social platforms, newsletters, and campaigns, while tracking effectiveness and collaborating with teams to ensure cohesive program delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in community outreach, volunteer management, or a related field within the non-profit sector.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote work environment.
• Proficiency in using virtual communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and digital marketing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic outreach plans to engage diverse community groups and potential donors.
• Organize and manage virtual events, workshops, and information sessions to raise awareness about the organization's initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and volunteers through consistent communication and engagement.
• Create compelling content for various platforms, including social media, newsletters, and email campaigns, to highlight outreach successes and needs.
• Track and report on the effectiveness of outreach activities, providing insights for continuous improvement and future planning.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a cohesive approach to community engagement and program delivery.
