Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a proactive Project Officer for a non-profit focused on community development in Richards Bay. You will support planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, liaising with beneficiaries and stakeholders to ensure initiatives stay relevant.

Develop work plans, budgets, and timelines, track progress, and prepare reports for management. The role requires 1–3 years of project support experience, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in project support or coordination, non-profit sector preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of community development projects.
• Liaise with beneficiaries and stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure relevance.
• Develop project work plans, budgets, and timelines; track progress and report to management.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges.
• Facilitate community meetings and workshops related to project activities.
