Qualifications

• Admitted attorney with 3–5 years of SA commercial litigation experience.
• Strong drafting and legal research abilities.
• Excellent advocacy, negotiation, and client management skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently.
• Remote-friendly with a reliable internet connection and home office.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of commercial litigation matters and ensure timely execution of tasks.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex issues.
• Manage discovery processes, including document review, interrogatories, and depositions.
• Represent clients in court, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Negotiate settlements and advise clients on litigation strategy.
• Maintain strong client relationships with regular updates and guidance.
• Collaborate with senior partners and other professionals on case strategy.
• Ensure compliance with court rules and ethical obligations.
• Stay abreast of developments in commercial litigation and substantive law.
