Placements24 is seeking an Associate Attorney in Mahikeng, North West, SA, to lead a diverse commercial litigation caseload. You will represent clients in disputes, conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and manage all phases of litigation with advocacy and strategic guidance.

The role requires an LLB degree and admission as an SA attorney, with 3–5 years’ relevant experience. A flexible arrangement including remote work options is available while maintaining in-office commitments.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
• LLB degree and strong civil litigation knowledge.
• Ability to manage a demanding commercial caseload with precision.

Responsabilités

• Represent clients in commercial disputes, including contractual, debt recovery, and shareholder matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research to develop case strategies.
• Draft pleadings, affidavits, and court documents.
• Manage litigation from filing to resolution, including settlements and trial prep.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Advise clients on risks and provide strategic litigation guidance.
• Collaborate with senior partners and legal teams, maintaining case files.
