Placements24 seeks an Information Security Engineer specializing in Cloud Security for a fully remote role supporting AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud platforms, and help automate CSPM and security posture monitoring.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in information security with 3+ in cloud security and holds relevant cloud security certifications. This position offers flexible hours and global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in information security with at least 3 years cloud security focus.
• Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP security services.
• Hands-on with CSPM, IAM, KMS, WAFs, and related tools.
• Proficient in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
• Strong networking and cloud security fundamentals.
• Experience securing Docker/Kubernetes environments.
• Cloud security certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage security for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implement security best practices for IAM, network security, and data encryption.
• Develop and automate security controls and CSPM monitoring.
• Conduct security assessments and code reviews for cloud apps and services.
• Respond to cloud security incidents with root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with Development and Operations to embed security in the cloud lifecycle (DevSecOps).
• Develop and maintain cloud security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Monitor cloud security posture and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance on cloud security to internal teams.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud threats and technologies.
