Placements24 is seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer with a specialization in Cloud Security for a fully remote role. You will design, implement, and maintain robust security controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP, safeguarding data and ensuring compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in information security with at least 3 years in cloud security, strong scripting skills, and cloud certifications.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in information security with at least 3 years in cloud security engineering.
• Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP security services.
• Hands-on with cloud security tools: security groups, WAFs, KMS, IAM, CSPM.
• Automation scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong networking foundations and cloud attack vectors.
• Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Cloud security certifications (AWS/Azure) are highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Design, deploy, and manage security solutions for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implement and maintain security best practices for cloud infrastructure (IAM, network security, encryption).
• Develop and automate security controls and compliance monitoring using cloud-native tools and third-party solutions.
• Conduct security assessments and code reviews for cloud-based applications and services.
• Respond to cloud security incidents; perform root cause analysis and preventative actions.
• Collaborate with development/ops to embed security into the cloud lifecycle (DevSecOps).
• Develop and maintain cloud security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Monitor cloud security posture and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide expert guidance on cloud security best practices to internal teams.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud security threats and technologies.
