Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Information Security Engineer specializing in cloud security for a fully remote role. You will design, implement, and manage security across AWS, Azure and GCP, ensuring robust controls and compliance while collaborating with DevOps and engineering teams.

This remote-first position emphasizes asynchronous communication, proactive threat mitigation, and ongoing experimentation with cloud-native security tools, IAM, and IaC security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in information security, including at least 2 years in cloud security.
• Experience securing AWS, Azure, or GCP and strong knowledge of IAM, data protection, and container security.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure and services.
• Implement and manage cloud-native security tools for threat detection, monitoring, and incident response.
• Collaborate with DevOps/Engineering to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage IAM for cloud resources, ensuring least privilege access.
• Respond to and investigate cloud security incidents.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud security threats and countermeasures.
