Placements24 is hiring a Cloud Security Engineer for a fully remote team. You will design, implement, and manage security controls across AWS, Azure, and GCP, embedding security throughout the cloud lifecycle to ensure scalability and resilience.

The role requires 4+ years in information security with cloud focus, hands-on with cloud security tools, and IaC experience (Terraform or CloudFormation). Collaboration with Dev and Ops is key for secure deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 4+ years of information security with cloud focus.
• Proven experience with AWS, Azure, GCP security services.
• Strong IAM, network security, and data protection knowledge.
• Hands-on with Terraform or CloudFormation desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls for cloud envs (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies and standards.
• Implement and manage cloud IAM solutions.
• Deploy firewalls, WAFs, security groups, and encryption.
• Monitor for threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance deviations.
• Respond to incidents with root-cause analysis and remediation.
• Conduct security assessments and audits of cloud infra.
• Collaborate to embed DevSecOps practices.
• Automate security deployments with IaC tooling.
• Keep up-to-date with cloud security trends.
