Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Cloud Network Specialist to join a fully remote engineering team. Design, implement, and manage cloud-based network infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, and high availability for a global user base.

The role requires 3+ years in cloud networking, expertise with major cloud networking services, and a strong understanding of SDN, microservices, and containerization. IaC experience with Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud networking.
• Experience with AWS VPC, Azure VNet or GCP VPC.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable VPCs and network services.
• Implement and manage cloud networking components, including load balancers, firewalls, and routing.
• Monitor cloud network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
• Develop and enforce cloud network security policies and best practices.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to support deployments in a remote setting.
