Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our IT team, supporting operations across locations from a fully remote setup. You will design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in network administration and infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing (BGP, OSPF), and security principles.
• Experience with cloud networking platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for diagnosing complex network issues.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for a remote-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize speed and efficiency.
• Ensure the security of the network by implementing and maintaining security protocols and intrusion detection systems.
• Provide remote technical support for network-related issues and troubleshoot connectivity problems.
