Job summary

The Optimal Group is seeking a commercially driven Client Project Manager to win new clients and grow long-term relationships within property maintenance and refurbishment. This remote role operates with UK hours, focusing on end-to-end client ownership—from opportunity identification to profitable delivery and payment.

You’ll leverage AI tools to streamline admin, improve quotes, and enhance client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in property maintenance or related trade services.
• Track record of winning work and growing client accounts.
• Strong sales, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Experience coordinating clients, engineers, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Hands-on with ChatGPT or similar AI tools; willingness to learn.
• Willingness to work UK hours and occasional weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new clients through outbound sales and networking.
• Convert enquiries into booked work with persuasive proposals.
• Build and maintain client relationships as the trusted contact.
• Coordinate engineers, suppliers and subcontractors for surveys and input.
• Own the client experience and manage project delivery.
• Manage invoicing, profitability and payments; ensure timely invoicing.
• Use AI tools to improve quotes and communications.
