• 3–5 years of experience as a Claims Adjuster in the motor vehicle insurance sector.
• Understanding of motor vehicle repair processes, accident investigation, and liability assessment.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and adjudicate motor vehicle claims in accordance with policy terms and conditions.
• Gather information from policyholders, witnesses, repairers, and other relevant parties.
• Assess damages, determine liability, and authorize repair costs or settlement amounts.
• Communicate claim status updates and decisions clearly and empathetically to policyholders.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and third parties within prescribed authority limits.
• Maintain accurate and detailed claim files using the company's claims management system.
• Identify potential fraudulent claims and refer them for further investigation as per protocol.
• Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company guidelines.

• Proven understanding of motor vehicle repair processes, accident investigation, and liability assessment.
• Familiarity with **South African** road accident fund (RAF) claims processes is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, essential for remote work.
