Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Remote Civil Engineer with a strong background in Urban Planning to join a globally distributed team. You will contribute to infrastructure master plans, land use strategies, and community development initiatives from anywhere.

You will collaborate with city planners, architects, and environmental scientists, delivering design concepts, reports, and presentations for urban development proposals while ensuring sustainable, regulatory-compliant outcomes.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in urban development and infrastructure planning.
Proven ability to collaborate remotely using collaboration tools and strong written communication.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement civil engineering aspects of urban master plans, including infrastructure needs assessment (water, sanitation, roads).
Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for proposed urban development projects.
Collaborate remotely with city planners, architects, environmental scientists, and community stakeholders.
Prepare design concepts, technical reports, and presentations for urban development proposals.
Ensure designs align with sustainable development principles, zoning regulations, and community input.
Provide technical guidance on infrastructure development strategies for new and redeveloping urban areas.
