Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a forward-thinking Remote Civil Engineer to join its expanding team, focusing on urban planning and development projects. This role enables you to shape resilient, sustainable urban landscapes from a remote setting.

You will collaborate with clients and stakeholders across regions, conduct feasibility studies, design infrastructure components, and prepare technical reports while keeping up with planning policies and innovative design standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum 7 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on urban development or planning projects.
Proficient in engineering design and modeling software (AutoCAD, GIS, simulation tools).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration.

Responsibilities

Contribute to feasibility studies and conceptual designs for large-scale urban development projects.
Perform detailed analysis and design for infrastructure components including roads, utilities, and public spaces.
Collaborate remotely with architects, urban planners, environmental scientists, and other specialists.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and design documentation for project stakeholders.
Ensure designs align with sustainability goals, local planning policies, and zoning regulations.
Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in urban planning and civil engineering.
