Placements24 is seeking a highly organized and communicative Remote Childcare Coordinator & Parent Liaison to manage operational aspects and strengthen relationships within their virtual childcare community. This fully remote position requires a professional in logistics, communication, and customer service with knowledge of early childhood education.

You will be the primary contact for parents, addressing inquiries and ensuring a smooth experience from your home office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a coordination, administrative, or customer relations role, preferably within childcare or education.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and empathetic tone.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using CRM software, scheduling tools, and standard office applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
• Experience with virtual communication platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams) is essential.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• A stable, high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace are required.
• Residing in or near Benoni, Gauteng, ZA is preferred.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for parents, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and other digital channels.
• Provide detailed information about childcare programs, enrollment procedures, and policies.
• Manage parent onboarding and ensure a seamless transition into the service.
• Coordinate and schedule virtual consultations, parent-teacher meetings, and informational webinars.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date parent records and communication logs.
• Liaise with educators and support staff to ensure consistent service delivery and address parent concerns promptly.
• Assist in the development and distribution of newsletters, updates, and program information to parents.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to parent engagement and service access.
• Support the coordination of remote learning resources and activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by gathering parent feedback and suggesting enhancements.
