Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Remote Senior Childcare Consultant to provide expert virtual guidance to parents and caregivers via video calls, phone, and email. The role emphasizes deep knowledge of child development and empathetic support with the flexibility to work from a home office.

You will develop personalized parenting plans, create informative content, stay current with research, and collaborate with the client’s support team to enhance services while maintaining accurate records

Qualifications

• Masters degree or higher in Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in childcare, counseling, or family support.
• Demonstrated expertise in various aspects of child-rearing and parenting challenges.
• Exceptional communication, active listening, and empathy skills.
• Proficiency in using video conferencing tools (Zoom, Skype, etc.) and CRM software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• High-speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace.
• Must be legally eligible to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Conducting virtual consultations with parents and caregivers to assess their needs and challenges.
• Providing expert advice and guidance on child development, discipline, sleep training, nutrition, and behavioral issues.
• Developing personalized parenting plans and strategies.
• Offering emotional support and building rapport with clients through various remote channels.
• Creating informative content (articles, guides, webinars) for online platforms.
• Staying updated on the latest research and best practices in child development and parenting.
• Collaborating with the client's support team to enhance service offerings.
• Maintaining accurate client records and consultation notes.
• Troubleshooting and resolving client inquiries effectively and efficiently.
