Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer for a fully remote role focused on sustainable chemical technologies. You will design, simulate, and optimize processes related to green chemistry, renewable energy integration, and waste valorization from your home office.

You will use Aspen HYSYS or ChemCAD to model processes, conduct techno-economic assessments, evaluate catalysts and feedstocks, and prepare technical reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in chemical or environmental engineering with a strong chemical engineering focus.
• Experience in process design, simulation, and optimization.
• Proficiency with process simulation software.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop sustainable chemical processes.
• Model and optimize processes using simulation tools.
• Conduct techno-economic assessments for green technologies.
• Evaluate catalysts, reagents and feedstocks for sustainable processes.
