Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Chemical Process Engineer to join a globally distributed team. You will design, develop, and optimize chemical processes for diverse applications, focusing on efficiency, sustainability, and scalable solutions from a remote setting.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, advanced knowledge of process simulation tools (Aspen Plus, HYSYS), and the ability to collaborate with international teams while delivering high-quality technical reports and

Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering.
7+ years of progressive experience in process design and optimization.
Experience with Aspen Plus or HYSYS and design tools.
PE license or equivalent international registration is an asset.
Experience with international teams and remote collaboration is desirable.

Responsibilities

Design and optimize chemical processes for new and existing products, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
Conduct process simulations, feasibility studies, and economic evaluations for global projects.
Develop PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specifications.
Troubleshoot process issues remotely, providing guidance to on-site teams.
Ensure designs comply with international safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with international project managers, engineers, and clients via virtual platforms.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations.
Mentor junior engineers and staff on remote assignments.
