Placements24 is seeking a creative and highly organized Event Planner for charity galas and fundraising events in Paarl, Western Cape. This contract role focuses on conceptualizing, planning, and executing impactful fundraising experiences for a leading non-profit foundation.

You will oversee all aspects from theme development to post-event evaluation, coordinating with venues, sponsors, and internal teams to maximize outcomes. Remote planning and flexible arrangements are encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop creative themes and concepts for fundraising galas and events.
• Manage all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, catering, A/V, and entertainment.
• Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and revenue targets are met.
• Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Develop event timelines and track progress against key milestones.
• Oversee on-site event management and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
