Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Catering Logistics Coordinator to manage nationwide catering deliveries from a central coordination hub. You will coordinate orders, schedules, and delivery confirmations while liaising with vendors and internal teams to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment.

In this fast-moving, virtual environment, you will maintain delivery records, monitor vendor performance, uphold food safety guidelines, and resolve issues quickly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics coordination, supply chain management, or event operations, preferably in a remote setting.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with a strong ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proficiency in using logistics software, tracking systems, and virtual communication platforms.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Effective communication skills with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all logistical elements for catering orders, including order processing, scheduling, and delivery confirmation.
• Liaise with catering vendors to confirm order details, delivery times, and special instructions.
• Track shipments and deliveries, proactively identifying and resolving any potential delays or issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including delivery manifests and vendor performance metrics.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams to provide updates and address concerns regarding deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and handling guidelines throughout the delivery process.
