Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who will own the top of the funnel: researching accounts, identifying decision makers, and booking qualified meetings to fuel the pipeline. This role emphasizes thoughtful outreach and professional communication using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce.

You will build accurate contact lists, manage your own pipeline in Salesforce, and collaborate with Account Executives.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
