Placements24 in Randburg, Gauteng, is seeking a Blockchain Security Analyst to audit smart contracts and assess security risks across decentralized applications. You will identify vulnerabilities, propose mitigations, and help embed security practices throughout the development lifecycle.

The role requires collaborating with development teams, staying current with blockchain security threats, and producing comprehensive audit reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on blockchain security.
• Experience analyzing smart contract code and identifying vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with Ethereum, Polygon, Solana and related platforms.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive security audits of smart contracts and DApps.
• Identify vulnerabilities and document remediation steps clearly.
• Develop risk-based security testing methodologies and tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into design and coding.
