Placements24 is seeking a Blockchain Security Auditor to join our Rustenburg, North West office. You will conduct security audits of smart contracts, dApps, and blockchain protocols, identifying vulnerabilities and guiding remediation across projects from startups to established enterprises.

The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of attack vectors, formal verification techniques, and hands-on experience with security tools.

Qualificações

• Proven experience in blockchain security, smart contract auditing, or penetration testing.
• Strong proficiency in at least one smart contract programming language (e.g., Solidity).
• In-depth knowledge of common smart contract vulnerabilities and attack vectors.
• Experience with security analysis tools and frameworks (e.g., Mythril, Slither, Echidna).
• Familiarity with formal verification methods and tools is a strong plus.
• Understanding of various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, BSC, Polygon).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client interaction.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit projects simultaneously.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Blockchain Security Professional) are advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive security audits of smart contracts written in languages like Solidity, Vyper, and Rust.
• Identify and analyze vulnerabilities, including reentrancy attacks, integer overflows/underflows, front-running exploits, and access control issues.
• Perform static and dynamic analysis of code to detect potential security flaws.
• Utilize formal verification tools and techniques to mathematically prove the correctness and security of smart contracts.
• Assess the security posture of decentralized applications (dApps) and their underlying infrastructure.
• Review blockchain protocol designs for potential security weaknesses.
• Generate detailed audit reports outlining findings, risks, and recommended remediation steps.
• Collaborate with development teams to explain vulnerabilities and guide them through the remediation process.
• Stay updated on the latest security threats, exploits, and best practices in the blockchain industry.
• Contribute to the development of internal security tools and methodologies.
