Placements24 is seeking a Senior Smart Contract Auditor for our Pretoria office to rigorously audit smart contracts and blockchain protocols for vulnerabilities and security flaws. You will lead security assessments, collaborate with teams, and drive best practices across our security program.

The role requires deep Solidity knowledge, experience with auditing tools, and a proactive approach to staying ahead of emerging threats in the blockchain space.

Qualifications

• Experience in smart contract security audits.
• Strong Solidity knowledge.
• Familiar with auditing tools such as Slither, Mythril.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Cybersecurity.
• Active involvement in cybersecurity community is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive security audits of smart contracts written in Solidity and other relevant languages.
• Identify and analyze vulnerabilities such as reentrancy, integer over/underflows, access control issues, and DoS vectors.
• Perform static and dynamic analysis using auditing tools and methodologies.
• Develop and implement custom security testing tools and frameworks.
• Provide detailed reports to clients with risks, impact, and remediation steps.
• Stay updated with latest vulnerabilities and best practices in blockchain security.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand contract logic and architecture.
• Mentor junior auditors and share knowledge within the security team.
• Present audit findings to clients and technical teams.
