The role emphasizes beverage trends, perishable-supply chain management, vendor relations, budgeting, and remote leadership. A sommelier or mixology certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years in beverage management or hospitality for events.
• Proven ability to develop beverage programs and manage bar operations.
• Strong knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and trends.
• Experience with logistics and supply chain for perishable goods.
• Excellent vendor negotiation and management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple remote projects.
• Familiarity with inventory, budgeting, and project tracking software.
• Understanding of food safety and alcohol service regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and curate beverage menus and cocktail recipes for virtual and hybrid events.
• Source and vet beverage suppliers and virtual mixologists, establishing strong partnerships.
• Oversee the logistics of beverage kit delivery to event attendees, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for virtual bar service and beverage fulfillment.
• Provide guidance and training to virtual mixologists and on-site bar staff as needed.
• Monitor beverage quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction throughout event execution.
• Manage beverage budgets, track expenses, and optimize cost-effectiveness for all events.
• Analyze event performance data related to beverage services to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Stay abreast of evolving beverage trends, craft cocktails, and innovative delivery methods.
• Liaise with event planners and clients to understand their specific beverage requirements and preferences.
