Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to own the top of the funnel across South Africa. You will research ideal accounts, identify decision makers and craft personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone to book discovery calls for our Account Executives.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in SDR/BDR roles, strong written communication, and familiarity with Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo, plus experience using Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
