Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is expanding its Sales Development team across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel by researching accounts, identifying decision makers and booking meetings with qualified prospects.

You’ll craft personalised outreach via email, LinkedIn and phone and maintain clean Salesforce/SalesLoft records. This is a fully remote, full-time role within South Africa, requiring 2 years in SDR/BDR or similar, with strong written communication and a drive to hit pipeline

Qualifications

2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS experience is a plus.
Strong written communication and ability to personalise outreach.
Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
