Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking ambitious Sales Development Representatives to cover South Africa. You will research accounts, identify decision makers and book qualified discovery calls to fuel our sales engine.

Utilize LinkedIn, Salesforce, SalesLoft and other tools to craft personalized outreach, maintain clean CRM records and help build Blacksmith’s pipeline with high-quality touches.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
