Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is hiring Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are eager to open doors and drive pipeline. You will own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

You will use outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone, maintain Salesforce and SalesLoft records, and collaborate with Account Executives to convert opportunities.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience preferred; open to full-cycle closers with quota experience.
• Minimum 2 years in an SDR/BDR role; agency or SaaS background a plus.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
