Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive top-of-funnel activity across South Africa, researching target accounts and booking meetings with qualified decision makers. You will represent Blacksmith Agency and create the first impression for potential clients.

You will own outbound outreach, identify decision makers, and maintain clean Salesforce records while collaborating with the sales team to improve messaging and targeting.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience preferred. Full-cycle closers who have carried a quota are welcome.
• 2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role; agency or SaaS experience a plus.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
