Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking Sales Development Representatives to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel, researching, sourcing, and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, and creating the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

This role focuses on thoughtful outbound outreach using tools like LinkedIn, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals while maintaining high-quality touches.

Qualifications

• B2B sales experience preferred.
• 2 years in an SDR/BDR role.
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
