Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Sales Development Representative across South Africa who will own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers. This remote, full-time role emphasizes thoughtful outreach, personalized messaging and pipeline hygiene using tools like LinkedIn, SalesLoft and Salesforce.

As part of our team, you will build targeted outreach and coordinate with Account Executives to convert prospects, while maintaining clean CRM

Qualifications

2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
