Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Aviation Safety Officer to join a fully remote team. You will develop, implement, and monitor safety policies for a global aviation network, conducting audits, investigations, and risk assessments from your home office.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in aviation safety, with ICAO/EASA/FAA knowledge and IS-BAO certification as assets. Strong independent work and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in aviation safety or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in aviation safety management.
• Certifications such as IS-BAO auditor or ICAO SMS are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve SMS and safety policies.
• Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and investigations.
• Monitor regulatory compliance (ICAO, EASA, FAA).
• Promote safety training and awareness programs.
• Analyze data to identify trends and improve safety.
• Liaise with aviation authorities on safety matters.
• Manage safety reporting systems and documentation.
