Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Remote Aviation Compliance Officer to help shape safety and regulatory compliance for a global client base. The role is fully remote and requires expert knowledge of ICAO, EASA, FAA and SACAA standards, plus extensive SMS development experience.

You will conduct remote audits, develop policy frameworks, and advise clients on best practices, with strong analytical and communication skills to work effectively in a virtual, independent setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in aviation compliance, safety management, or regulatory affairs.
• In-depth knowledge of ICAO, EASA, FAA, or SACAA regulations and standards.
• Proven experience developing and implementing Safety Management Systems (SMS).

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote audits and assessments of aviation organizations for regulatory compliance.
• Develop and update compliance programs, SMS, and operational procedures.
• Monitor changes in aviation regulations and advise clients on necessary adjustments.
• Investigate compliance incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide expert guidance and training to clients on aviation safety and compliance matters.
• Maintain accurate records of audits, findings, and client progress.
